How does GCM Legal charge for RAF Claims?
In many cases with Road Accident Fund claims we are able to offer our services on a NO WIN, NO FEE basis (contingency fees agreement).
Where a Contingency Fee is agreed, we will charge a percentage of the funds recovered on your behalf.
We also offer our services on a regular hourly fee basis; however, if you qualify for our contingency fee services and choose an hourly rate service instead we will need to obtain upfront “Trust Retainers” (deposits) from you along the way and you will be charged for our attendances regardless of the success of your claim. Our Trust Retainers are used to cover, without limitation, our fees and disbursements.
*Terms and conditions apply.
Fee agreements are an important part of legal services and they help to create certainty for both clients and attorneys.
There are many variations of Fee Agreements but ultimately the focus is Fees Structure and how you will be charged: i.e. percentage charged of winnings; hourly rate; Trust retainers (or deposits); billing for disbursements; etc.
